Skills Coach

I started a program designed specifically to teach people how to improve their rugby passing skills called “#Kimutaka Pass”.

I changed playing positions three times when I was in my third year of college (FL→SH). At the time, I there wasn’t anyone who could teach me about passing skills for the scrum-half position, and I didn’t have the slightest idea of how I should practice. I often see students in Japan who find themselves in the same position. I came up with the original idea for “Kimutaka Pass” when I was wondering if there might be some way to share the practice methods and skills that I learned from a SH coaching specialist while I was in New Zealand.

In terms of my prior coaching experience, I have taught at three different high schools in New Zealand. In Japan, I have shared my rugby knowledge at rugby schools and academies and for every level of player— from elementary school children to Top League players. Since there aren’t any scrum-half coaches in Japan, I hope to coach as a scrum-half specialist in the future.
